Fornax A is one of the sky’s strongest radio sources. And at its center, a supermassive black hole devours gas, dust, and entire galaxies, leaving dark lanes as scars of its cannibalism.
Something is singing out, and should anyone get close enough they'll discover they are Bodiarchs, an ancient eldritch race born from the darkness between galaxies. Each rules a fragment of a primordial body, and every galaxy swallowed by the black hole feeds their widening doorway, letting them whisper across the void.
Fornax A is broadcasting and it's looking for a new star to swallow.

Veyl drifts between the dim and forgotten places of the world, where silence carries further than sound.
She has no voice of her own, speaking only through a pair of cat-like embodiments. One cat has a cassette head to record sounds; the other, a gramophone head, plays them back for her to consume.
Her hat acts as a mouth, reading the tape like braille. Through this, she speaks from a collage of voices gathered from the scavenged world.
